Cultural Awareness Workshop- FULL No longer Accepting Applications

What’s on the agenda? 

Day 1-Feb 14: Residential School Awareness

Day 2- Feb 15: Indigenous Cultural Competency and Reconciliation

Day 3- Feb 16: Moving Knowledge into Instructional Practice  

 

Who's invited?

All NTA teachers and principals are eligible to apply. However, priority* will be given to new teachers that just started their position in August/ September followed by teachers in their second and third year. 

 

Is there a cost?  

If you are accepted into the workshop, teachers must submit an individual school based PD week application through the PD database.  Flights, accommodations and cost above the PD allotment will be covered by the Department of Education.

 

How do I register? 

  1. Fill out a registration form (that includes a photo consent form, this is provided below)

  2. If accepted, apply for your Individual school based PD week application
