Mentor Program for New Hires

Status: required

We require all newly hired teachers to register and participate in a two-year mentorship program. In this program, experienced Nunavut educators work with our new hires, offering them guidance and support.

We are in the process of developing this program and will offer it at a later date. We do not expect our new hires to complete this two-year obligation until the program is ready. However, you can still take advantage of informal mentoring opportunities that are happening across Nunavut. Please check with your administrative team to see if your school offers this type of support.
